US Army switch engine604 viewsA GE 45-ton US Army switch engine sits on a C&NW flatcar. Tom Mack did some research and found it had been assigned to Kankakee Ordnance Works in Elwood, IL, and then went to Hill AFB in Utah, so it may be in transit between the two locations (probably on the GMO since it went right through Elwood). The logo on the side is a bomb symbol, commonly found around munitions. May 07, 2014
